The World Famous Pontani Sisters (Helen, Tara and Dana) are cornerstones of the New York burlesque revolution. Their costumes and headdresses recall MGM Technicolor musicals and Ziegfeld's Follies. They dance mambo Italiano, French can-cans, 1960s go-gos and, just right for the Fourth of July, a Charleston-christened "Star-Spangled Stomp." A must-see. (Repeats at 10:30 p.m. midnight in the tent with Big Sandy and the World Famous Pontani Sisters, accompanied by guitar and drums surf instrumental band Los Straitjackets.)
