Project 1- Operation Fruit Headdress

Step 4:
With your glue gun hot, seal the openings to the fabric and the fabric to the basket.
It is okay if the glue drips through the openings, just make sure it doesn’t burn your fingers!
Remember, like hair mouse and rouge, less is more when it comes to hot glue guns. A small amount will give you a fabulous bond and look much neater.

***Safety Tips: Glue Gun Handling 101*** Please remember, safety first! It’s hard to be happy and wear a headdress when you’ve gone and burnt yourself with a glue gun, remember to watch your fingers and be sure the surface you are working on is protected. I’ve ruined many a kitchen table for lack of working over newspaper or another protective material! And if you do get burned, hold your injured finger and hop around singing this little song. I do it all the time - in fact, I wrote the song. I promise it will make you feel better.
“3rd degree burn, it’s ok, it don’t hurt me, nu-uh, no-way!”
