THE WORLD FAMOUS PONTANI SISTERS
Speaking of outrageous headdresses, get a load of the lovely World Famous
Pontani Sisters as they bring the flavor of old-time cabaret and burlesque
shows back to bars and clubs around the city. The tantalizing trio are wowing
audiences with their vast repertoire of Cotton Club-era dance numbers,
costumed in elaborate outfits that recall MGM Technicolor musicals and
Zeigfield's Follies as they dance their way into everyone's hearts. Their
renditions of the sexy, long forgotten fan dance, the "Mambo Italiano" (a
salute to their own heritage), and a wild Charleston called "The Star
Spangled Stomp" are simply not to be missed. Monday nights at Marion's (354
