All four Pontani sisters are wild in the kitchen, whether its Angies' award winning Lasagna, Tara's amazing apple pie, Helen's Italian Wedding Soup or Dana's Deviled Eggs, these girls know what to do with a stovetop! And here for your cooking convenience is one of their favorite quick fix dinners, straight from the kitchen of Mamma and Pappa Pontani! A Pontani sister tip: clean as you cook, it makes everything so much easier.

Chicken Pontani Balsamica as per Mamma Pontani

In a large skillet add olive oil; coat the bottom of the pan
Add finely chopped garlic (3 to 4 cloves depending on your feelings towards garlic!)
Turn gas on low (a good tip when sautÈing garlic is "low and slow") for about 2 min.
Cut up red or yellow Italian peppers and add to your sauteeing oil mixture cook low and slow for about 5-7 minutes
Add 1/2 cup of finely chopped onions to mixture
Add 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
Let simmer for 5 minutes
Add 32 ounce can of peeled plum tomatoes
Let simmer for 20 minutes

In another skillet, while your oil mixture is simmering and filling your home with a fragrant smell, you will need to...

Coat the bottom of your skillet with Balsamic Vinegar and 3 to 4 cloves of crushed garlic
Cut into strips and pound your chicken breasts
Put your flame on low and add your chicken (5 to 6 breasts)
Let your chicken cook low and slow for about 20 minutes, be sure to turn your chicken!
When they are cooked remove your chicken and add them to the oil mixture that has been simmering!!!
Enjoy with a nice bottle of red wine with your friends and family!!!!
