Oh de Twirlette (Mary Jane Hunter, Susan Kosor, Urania Mylonas and Veronica Dougherty) combines dance and baton skill in an utterly infectious performance act with wide appeal. These lovely young ladies (choreographed by the intrepid Kosor) twirl in synchronized perfection to various musical genres from 20's Charleston swing to punk rock, and have performed at venues from the genteel Cornelia Street Cafˇ to Brooklyn hipster hangout Luxx. Oh de Twirlette has strutted its stuff at a variety of events, from the Lincoln Center Convergence Parade to the Williamsburg Dog Parade. Most importantly, these ladies look adorable in short shorts.
