Bond Girls on the Bowery

Dinner at Marion's Continental Restaurant & Lounge is always a treat, with its classic fare and newly renovated — but still retro — decor. Now every Monday, live entertainment is thrown into the mix with appearances by the Pontani Sisters, a trio of glamorous, tattooed showgirls who perform while you enjoy Marion's world-famous martinis. Along with their classic numbers, including "I Wanna Be a Lifeguard" (1920s bathing beauties), "Jungle Exotica" (a Josephine Baker-inspired Afro-Cuban act), and "She's a Lady" (a classic burlesque strip tease), the Sisters are also adding what they're calling, "a 1960's modern dance-styled, Kung Fu Bond Girl spectacular!" Armed with a wardrobe that could clothe a cast of thousands and a large dose of good old-fashioned moxie, the girls will make you forget that it's already 2000.
