Travel Tips & Tricks
We have been travelling quite a bit these days and want to share with you the cool places we've discovered while on tour. So pack your bags, load up the car and hit the road with us!
Fairmount, INIt's the heartland of America. Farms, trees, and big sky for as far as the eye can see. It's a slice of heaven and Fairmont, was the childhood home to the one and only "King Cool" James Dean! This was a gem we stumbled across by accident and had the experience of a lifetime. We can't wait to go back. Holy Wow is really all we could say after visisting Fairmount, what an amazing town! It's like you stepped into a time warp, we didn't want to leave! The town hosts a yearly Rockabilly event the week of James Deans death (September 30th) but it looks to us like it rocks all year!
The James Dean Memorial Gallery This place boasts a great collection of James Dean artifacts. You will get the true picture of his amazing life. Ask to visit the amazing downstairs shop for a great big fat slice of vintage americana! It's full of clothes, books, furniture, pillows, dishwear, records...! It's a dream! GO GO GO GO GO!! The James Dean Gallery 425 N. Main Street Fairmaount, IN 46928

Eats Giant Have lunch at GIANT and ask for the tenderloin sandwhich, it's bigger than your head and shoulders together and a Pabst Blue Ribbon! Soak it all in. Ask for directions to Giant at the gallery, you'll be happy you did.
